Volunteering Opportunities

Volunteers help share the impact of donation through their presence, storytelling, and moments of connection. Each role —whether packing Legacy Boxes, sharing their experiences publicly, or engaging their local communities — serves to honor donor heroes and encourage others to get involved. Volunteers can also join our Facebook Page to learn about upcoming opportunities.

VOLUNTEER WITH US

  • An event ambassador represents OurLegacy at community events, offering a welcoming presence, sharing information about donation, and helping people understand how to get involved.

  • A speaker shares personal reflections on donation at community gatherings, helping others understand its impact and inspiring them to get involved.

  • A campus advocate engages students and campus communities by sharing information about donation, organizing awareness efforts, and encouraging peers to register as donors.

  • Support life-saving work and donor family care on the first Thursday of each month. Assist in preparing educational program materials and assembling Legacy Boxes honoring our heroes.

Join us for a free comprehensive health event for the whole family, featuring kidney screenings to promote early detection and kidney health awareness. Attendees can enjoy gift card giveaways and exciting raffle giveaways throughout the day. The first 100 people to RSVP will receive a free kidney screening!

Bring the whole family and enjoy a day filled with fun, including bounce houses, face painting, a live DJ, free food (while supplies last), exciting giveaways, and interactive activities for all ages. It’s the perfect opportunity to have fun, connect with the community, and celebrate health and wellness together!

Enjoy an engaging panel discussion featuring doctors and kidney specialists as they share expert insights on kidney health, disease prevention, treatment options, and practical steps you can take to protect and improve your overall well-being.

Enjoy a live healthy cooking demonstration by celebrity Chef Juvon, who will share delicious, kidney-friendly recipes and practical nutrition tips, followed by an energizing exercise session led by CBC Boot Camp to get your body moving, your heart pumping, and inspire healthy habits for all fitness levels!
