How Two Moms Stood in the Gap for Each Other

Two moms were brought together by taking care of each other's children – one at the beginning of her life, and one at the end. They first met when Christine took care of Michelle's newborn daughter. Three years later, they came back into each other’s lives when Christine’s son, Solomon, passed away and became a donor hero to five people in need.

When these women stood in the gap for each other, lives were forever changed as a result. Their full-circle connection was brought about by stepping up to support one another.

Michelle said to me, ‘If you decide that this is what you want to do, I will stand in the gap for Solomon in the operating room like you stood in the gap for Ashley when she was first here.’
